Residential & Commercial Electrician

The electrician program consists of 900 hours over 30 weeks full-time. An evening option also provides 900 hours over approximately 75 weeks. Training includes electrical theory, tools and materials, residential code, commercial wiring, low-voltage systems and fire alarms.

A 120-hour internship is incorporated into the full-time pathway. Students are trained for entry-level work under licensed electricians; completing the program does not itself confer a Massachusetts electrician license.

HVAC/R Technician

The HVAC/R program is also 900 hours, completed in 30 weeks during the day or 75 weeks in the evening. Training includes air conditioning, heat pumps, refrigeration systems and related HVAC/R service skills.

Students can also pursue EPA certification, and MTTI provides OSHA-related safety training in several trade programs.

Building & Property Trades Technician

This 900-hour, 30-week program covers:

• Carpentry and framing
• Woodworking
• Basic electrical
