Terms of Service

Effective date: May 12, 2026
Last updated: October 2, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of TradeSchoolScout.com and the directory, information request, advertising, and promotional services offered through it. In these terms, “TradeSchoolScout,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of this website.

By using the website, submitting a listing or inquiry, or accepting an order for our services, you agree to the applicable terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services. When purchasing on behalf of a school or organization, you confirm that you have authority to agree on its behalf.

About our service: TradeSchoolScout is a school directory and information and referral platform. We are not a school, accreditor, licensing authority, or admissions office. Free listings and paid promotion help students explore training options; they do not guarantee educational or enrollment outcomes.

1. Website Information and School Listings

We provide school profiles, program information, career resources, and related content for general informational purposes. Listings may use publicly available information, school websites, or details supplied by providers. Our directory is not exhaustive, and inclusion does not constitute endorsement or accreditation.

Programs, tuition, locations, schedules, financial aid, admissions requirements, and licensing rules may change. Confirm important details directly with the school or relevant authority before applying, paying, or enrolling.

2. Permitted Use

You may use the website to research training options, request information, and submit or manage authorized school information. You must use our services lawfully and provide accurate information.

  • Do not submit fraudulent inquiries, misleading listings, spam, or unlawful content.
  • Do not impersonate another person or claim a school listing without authorization.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or personal data.
  • Do not disrupt the website, bypass security controls, or use automated tools in a way that interferes with its operation.
  • Do not reproduce or commercially redistribute protected website content without permission, except as permitted by law.

3. Accounts and Listing Claims

If you create an account, keep your login credentials secure and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized use. A listing claim may require evidence that you represent the school. We may decline or revoke unauthorized claims and request supporting information for proposed changes.

Claiming a listing does not confer ownership of the website or guarantee paid placement. Schools are responsible for keeping submitted program and contact information current.

4. Free Standard Listings

Standard listings may be published without payment. Paid promotion is optional. An existing standard listing does not become paid merely because a school purchases promotion.

When a promotion ends, the standard listing remains free unless removed for another reason, such as duplication, inaccurate information, closure, or a violation of these terms. Paid-only placement and presentation benefits end with the paid period.

5. Featured Placements and Advertising

Schools and other relevant providers may purchase featured listings, multi-location packages, or separately agreed advertising services. Your written offer or order confirmation specifies the participating campuses, placement scope, included benefits, price, and duration.

Featured placement refers to visibility within TradeSchoolScout, such as a campus’s city and state directory results. It does not promise a position in Google or another external search engine, exclusive placement, or first position unless expressly included in your written order.

Depending on the package, benefits may include a featured image, additional photos, referral-tagged website links, reporting, and campus listing inquiries. Custom advertising, sponsored content, landing pages, and separately qualified leads are included only if expressly agreed.

Payment may affect placement and prominence. Paid promotion is identified as advertising and is not an independent assessment of school quality. Our Advertiser Disclosure explains these relationships in more detail.

6. Orders, Payment, and Activation

Prices, payment timing, taxes if applicable, and any setup or production fees are disclosed before purchase. Payment is due as specified in the accepted offer or invoice. We may require payment before activation.

The promotion period starts on the agreed activation date, not simply when payment is received. We confirm activation and promotion dates in writing. Please provide required logos, photos, approvals, and other materials by the agreed deadline.

If missing materials prevent activation, we will discuss a revised start date or cancellation. Delays in optional materials after activation do not automatically extend placements that are already being delivered.

7. Renewals, Cancellation, and Refunds

Paid packages do not automatically renew unless you expressly authorize a recurring arrangement. Without that authorization, continued promotion requires your confirmation and payment for the next period.

If recurring billing is offered, the amount, frequency, and cancellation method are disclosed before authorization. Cancellation received before the next billing date stops the next renewal.

Our Refund & Cancellation Policy forms part of these terms for paid services. It provides for full refunds of standard promotion packages canceled before activation and appropriate refunds for confirmed billing errors or undelivered services. Once services are activated, a change of plans or low campaign results does not ordinarily qualify for a refund.

You may request cancellation by emailing support@tradeschoolscout.com . Unless you request earlier removal, canceled promotion continues to the end of the prepaid period.

8. Student Information Requests

Submitting an information request through TradeSchoolScout is free and does not obligate you to enroll. Provide accurate contact details and submit requests only for yourself or someone you are authorized to represent.

Depending on the request and the disclosures shown on the form, we may forward your information to the requested school or a relevant participating provider. Matching may consider your interests, location, program preferences, and provider availability. Commercial relationships may affect the participating referral options available.

Our Privacy Policy and the request form explain applicable data practices. Providers receiving your request may contact you as described in the form. Agreeing to these terms alone is not a substitute for any separate contact consent required for a particular communication method.

We do not guarantee that a provider will respond, offer a program, accept an application, or enroll you. Provider communications and services are governed by the provider’s own terms and policies.

9. Included Inquiries and Separately Purchased Leads

When a paid package includes campus listing inquiries, inquiries submitted through the participating listings are provided without an additional per-inquiry charge while that package is active. This does not promise a minimum inquiry volume or include every general inquiry received by TradeSchoolScout.

Separately qualified or matched student leads require a separate written agreement specifying price, qualification criteria, delivery, any exclusivity, duplicate rules, review deadlines, and replacement or credit terms before purchase.

Providers must use inquiry information only for the disclosed purpose and permitted follow-up, respect applicable contact preferences, protect the information, and not resell it or use it for unrelated marketing.

10. Reporting and Results

Reporting covers the metrics specified in your package. Listing views represent recorded page views and are not a count of unique students. Campus inquiry reporting covers requests recorded through the relevant listings and excludes identified spam and duplicate requests where practicable.

Referral parameters help your team identify visits in your own analytics; they do not ensure every visit is recorded. Reporting systems may differ because of measurement methods, filtering, browser settings, or tracking restrictions.

Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not guarantee listing views, search rankings, website traffic, inquiries, applications, enrollments, or return on advertising spend.

11. School Information, Photos, and Other Submissions

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of materials you submit, including program descriptions, accreditation statements, tuition information, outcome claims, logos, photos, and testimonials. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide them.

You retain ownership of your submitted materials. You grant TradeSchoolScout a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, resize, format, and display those materials to publish and operate your listing and agreed promotions. We may use service providers to perform those functions.

This permission does not authorize us to imply endorsements you have not given. We may edit for clarity or formatting and reject or remove misleading, infringing, inappropriate, or irrelevant material. Please notify us of outdated information or a rights concern.

12. Intellectual Property

TradeSchoolScout’s original content, branding, design, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to the website operator. Third-party school names, logos, photos, and submitted content remain the property of their respective owners.

These terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property. You may not commercially reproduce protected materials without the appropriate permission, except as permitted by law.

13. Third-Party Services and Educational Decisions

External websites, schools, payment services, and training providers operate independently. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. We do not control their content, admissions decisions, instruction, tuition, refunds, or services.

Our information is not individualized legal, financial, licensing, or career advice. We do not guarantee accreditation, admission, financial aid, certification, licensing, graduation, employment, or salary. Confirm requirements with the appropriate provider or authority.

14. Availability, Corrections, and Suspension

We aim to keep the website available and information useful, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances outside our control. We may correct inaccurate listings and suspend accounts or content for misuse, nonpayment, security concerns, or violations of these terms.

Suspension does not automatically resolve a refund request. Any undelivered paid services and associated refunds are assessed under the accepted order, our Refund & Cancellation Policy, and applicable law.

15. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, general website information and free directory services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted access, or fitness for a particular purpose. This does not remove our obligation to deliver expressly agreed paid services.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, TradeSchoolScout and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the website, including lost profits or lost opportunities.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, excuses fraud or willful misconduct, limits nonwaivable rights, or removes refund obligations expressly stated in an accepted order or our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

16. Related Policies and Order Terms

Our Privacy Policy explains personal information practices. Our Advertiser Disclosure explains commercial relationships, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy governs cancellations and refunds for paid services.

For a specific purchase, expressly agreed written order terms control any conflict with general service terms. Different refund or cancellation terms must be disclosed and agreed before purchase. An invoice alone does not introduce previously undisclosed restrictions.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms and update the revision date. Material changes will be communicated through a website notice or other appropriate means. Continued use after revised terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

Existing prepaid orders remain governed by the terms accepted at purchase unless we both agree otherwise. New prices or package changes apply to future purchases or renewals and are disclosed before acceptance.

18. Contact Us

For questions about these terms, listings, orders, or student requests, email support@tradeschoolscout.com . Include the relevant page link or invoice reference where available. Do not send passwords or full payment card details.
